Dreamy Winter Destinations to Drink With a View
The Handle Bar, Jackson Hole, Wyoming
After a hard day on the slopes in Jackson Hole, retreat to The Handle Bar at the Four Seasons Resort for a much-deserved, après-ski libation. There you can drink Hot Toddys, a signature punch like The Iron Ranger (bourbon, lemon, Velvet Falernum, pineapple, bitters, mint), or a simple Boilermaker from their extensive beer and whiskey list. They also have homemade Fireball for those who really want to warm up from the inside out. While you’ll get plenty of great mountain views sitting by the fire inside, the patio is always open if you want to brave the cold.

Oblaca, Prague, Czech Republic
Prague is a gorgeous city to visit in the winter, if strolling through fairytale-like cobblestone streets and snapping photos of snow-capped spires are your thing. The best place to see the European city on display is perched high above the buildings at Oblaca, a restaurant and bar that specializes in molecular mixology. Have a seat in one of the swinging bubble chairs and order a libation like the Diamond—made with gin, sloe gin, cherry bitters, simple syrup, grapefruit and smoked cherry wood. Stay for creative dishes like a cappelletti stuffed with venison, tomato, roasted eggplant, homemade mozzarella and saffron foam.

The Barn by Odin, Hokkaido, Japan
In the small ski town Niseko on Japan’s Hokkaido Island sits this magical bar and restaurant. The Barn by Odin is an actual barn, designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and a lofted bar that overlooks the dining room. They have all kinds of tasty signature cocktails like a Yuzu Pepper Margarita and the Niseko Tiki—mixed with rum, lime, passion fruit, honey, apple bitters and cinnamon—which arrives on fire. There's even a late-night happy hour from 10 p.m. to midnight for snow bunnies looking for a nightcap.

Antler Hall, Beaver Creek, Colorado
Park Hyatt’s Beaver Creek Resort and Spa is the luxury lodge of our dreams, and has a top-notch food and beverage program to boot. At the end of a long run, you’d find us kicking back at the resort’s Antler Hall, a stunning space with floor-to-ceiling windows, mountain views for days and a gorgeous antler chandelier that really ties the room together. They have lots of great wines and a solid craft beer selection, along with signature cocktails named after the employees’ favorite runs in Beaver Creek.
