While no one has found the definitive, all-encompassing, all-powerful, guaranteed-to-work hangover cure, people sure have come up with a lot of options. Most of us turn to a home remedy like a breakfast sandwich and a gallon of water, but if you have deep pockets there are some more interesting solutions out there. Here are five luxe ways to cure (or at least soothe) your hangover.
IV Vitamin Drip
Now available in pretty much every major party city in the world, the IV drip is marketed as the quickest, most efficient way to rid yourself of any toxins and flush the hangover right out of you. In New York City the Hangover Club comes to you—a registered nurse will arrive at your home (or hotel room or office or park bench) in just 45 minutes and pump you full of vitamins, antioxidants and anti-nausea medication. In Los Angeles, stars like Adele and Chrissy Teigen have been known to frequent the Drip Doctors for a vitamin boost, but we know what that means. There’s also Drip Hydration in L.A., which offers a premium hangover package that promises to “scrub your liver squeaky clean.” Perhaps the most well known, though, is Hangover Heaven in Las Vegas. They’ll send nurses to your hotel room after a long night in the casinos or you can hop aboard their bus, which features IV drips, flat screen tvs and private bunks. The drips don’t come cheap, though. At any one of these places a session will run you between $115-300. Sometimes it can even be more.
