(Sidebar: Samoas and Do-si-dos are Nos. 2 & 3 on that best-selling list—and somehow, Trefoils don’t clock in till the 5th spot. Which is crazy. But back to our main topic.) Thin Mints are so popular around Supercall World HQ that someone came up with the genius idea to create an adult-beverage riff on the fabled, chocolate-dipped mint wafer. And now, you can make the incredibly tasty result at home. You'll need vodka, ice cream, dark chocolate, deliciously minty, complex Fernet Branca Menta, and a few other things. See here:

Ingredients |

  • 1 oz vodka
  • .5 oz Branca Menta
  • 1 oz crème de cacao
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • .5 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 3 dashes chocolate bitters
  • 1 oz dark chocolate
  • .5 cup crushed ice
  • Mint sprig, for garnish
  • Thin Mint, for garnish
Method |
  • Freeze a Thin Mint cookie.
  • Add vodka, Branca Menta, heavy cream, sea salt, ice cream, bitters, dark chocolate, and crushed ice to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
  • Pour into a Hurricane glass and garnish with a sprig of mint and a frozen Thin Mint.
