It’s hard to get excited about Easter now that you’re grown and your belief in the Easter Bunny has been long shattered. As a kid, the best part about Easter was always the morning hunt, when you’d search for buried, sugary treasure trapped inside plastic technicolor eggs, but this nostalgic pastime becomes a lot less cute when you have a 401K. But fear not. Easter doesn’t have to merely serve as a reminder that your childhood years are over. You just have to find a way to “adult” the Easter egg hunt, and we have just the thing any full-grown Easter-lover would gladly scour the house for—Easter egg Jello Shots.
Note: When we were kids, our parents and grandparents had actual Jello molds that would form full Easter eggs. We’re not sure if this type of mold is extinct or simply difficult to find, so we substituted silicone molds instead. The eggs are flat on one side, but they’re still festive and incredibly delicious. Stock up on gelatin and make these three Jello Shot recipes for your next spring gathering.
