Baja Gold: the Margarita's Underrated, Overlooked Cousin


How this cocktail is not more popular is beyond us. An easy-as-pie combo of reposado tequila, pineapple juice, and agave syrup, it looks great, tastes great, and is perfectly suited to sunny vacations.

Here’s how you make it:

Ingredients |

  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • .75 oz pineapple juice
  • .5 oz agave syrup
  • Lime wedge, for garnish
Method |
  • Add tequila, pineapple juice and agave syrup to a shaker tin with ice.
  • Shake to combine and chill, then strain into a chilled Coupe glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.
