If you’re not a regular cigar smoker, picking one out for the rare bi-annual occasion when you do enjoy one can be difficult. How are you, the opposite of a cigar aficionado, supposed to know the difference between Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco, or whether you want a full-bodied or light-bodied flavor, or what type of cigar goes best with your drink of choice? Luckily, there’s at least one easy pick out there if you are a whiskey lover: the new Diesel Whiskey Row.
Made in partnership with Rabbit Hole Bourbon (a new-ish Kentucky distillery whose line of bourbons you seriously need to try—especially the one finished in PX sherry casks) the cigars are made with tobacco aged in ex-bourbon barrels. (If you want to get geeky about it, the binder leaves are actually the ones being aged in the barrels, but you don’t need to know that to enjoy it.)
