After a long night of boozing it up, a man named Cliff in Halifax, Nova Scotia, responsibly decided it was time to head to his buddy’s place where he was staying. Upon reaching the house, he knocked and hollered for his pal Danderson to let him in. But Danderson never came. Instead, Caitlynne Hines and her husband Nick, the actual occupants, arrived and politely told him to leave. But in his inebriated state Cliff last-name-withheld refused, and fervently continued to attempt to gain entry, even going so far as to try to pick the lock. Finally, though, he gave up and stumbled down the road.
Hines waited for Cliff to return with the number for the police at the ready, but he never did. And the next day, she found something wonderful on the doorstep: a six-pack of beer and an apology note. She posted a picture of the note and the beer on her Facebook and it quickly went viral:
