Since spiking your morning coffee with a dram of whiskey is now suddenly “inappropriate workplace behavior” according to that HR memo, Jack Daniel’s is here to help you get your fix in a more socially acceptable way: whiskey-flavored coffee.
The whiskey distillery recently released Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee, made from 100 percent Arabica coffee and infused with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. Produced by New Jersey-based World of Coffee, the ground coffee is medium roast and claims to have the same caramel and vanilla notes of the whiskey.
The coffee is sold in both caffeinated and decaffeinated varieties and is non-alcoholic. It’s unclear exactly how the whiskey infusion process works, but we do know they are not barrel-ageing the beans like other brands.
