If you need a hit of joe to get your day going, consider this simple three-ingredient cocktail. Spiked with cold brew coffee and spiced rum, the drink gets its tiki cred from a splash of orgeat, an almond syrup that also includes a touch of orange blossom water.

2 oz cold brew coffee
.5 oz orgeat
Flamed orange twist


  • Add all ingredients except for the garnish to a highball glass.
  • Fill the glass halfway with crushed ice.
  • Use a swizzle stick to mix the ingredients.
  • Fill the remainder of the glass with crushed ice and swizzle once more.
  • Garnish with a flamed orange twist.
