Vodka Cranberry Lemonade

This variation on the Tom Collins gets a tart and tangy bite from muddled fresh cranberries and lemon. As easy to make as it is to drink, it’s simple enough for a quick afternoon aperitif and pretty enough to serve at a cocktail party.

2 oz Vodka
1 Demerara Sugar Cubes
6 Whole, Fresh Cranberries
1 Lemon Slice, for garnish
2 dashes Orange Bitters
Sparkling Lemonade
Lemon Wheel, For Garnish


  • Place the sugar cube in a mixing glass and dash the bitters on top of it.
  • Add the lemon slice and cranberries to the glass and muddle until the cranberry and lemon juice has dissolved the sugar cube.
  • Add the vodka and 2 ounces of lemonade to the mixing glass. Add ice and stir to incorporate.
  • Double strain the cocktail into a highball glass. Add ice and top with more lemonade. Stir with your bar spoon to incorporate, and garnish with a lemon wheel.
